What Is PVD Coating?

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is an advanced finishing process that applies a thin, exceptionally durable layer of metal to a product’s surface. This coating provides a rich, luxurious finish while improving resistance to scratches, stains, corrosion, wear, and everyday chemicals. Our PVD colors come in gold, rose gold, and black. 

 

Daily Maintenance

Use a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, warm water, and a mild dish soap. Rinse the surface thoroughly after cleaning and dry it immediately with a towel to avoid water spots.

 

Weekly Maintenance

Create a thick, spreadable mix of baking soda and water. Apply it to the surface and wipe with a soft cloth or sponge.

To remove limescale and water spots, soak a soft cloth in white vinegar and place it over the spot for approximately 10 minutes. Wipe gently, then rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water.

 

What to Avoid

Do not leave soap, food particles, or other residue on the surface, as they can cause buildup and gradually dull the finish.

Do not use steel wool or abrasive scrubbers as they can scratch the surface.

Do not leave vinegar, acid cleaners, or alkaline substances on the surface for extended periods as they can weaken the coating.

Do not use bleach, ammonia, or harsh chemicals as they can permanently damage the PVD coating.

Do not use powdered abrasive cleaners as they can dull the finish.

 

Extra Tips

For additional protection, apply a PVD-safe surface protector spray approximately once a month

Dry your sink after each use. Regular drying helps prevent water spots, mineral buildup, and premature fading.

Use a dish rack or drying mat to minimize standing water and prevent soap residue from accumulating.
