Kitchen Sink Warranty

Zenith Sinks products are manufactured and tested to the highest quality standards by Zenith Sinks Inc. (“Zenith Sinks”). Zenith Sinks warrants to the original purchaser that its kitchen sinks will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, provided the product remains installed in its original location and is maintained in accordance with Zenith Sinks’ care and installation instructions.

This warranty applies only to products purchased from an authorized Zenith Sinks dealer or distributor and is non-transferable.

For residential applications, Zenith Sinks warrants the structure and finish of the product to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product and the product remains installed in its original residential location.

Any product reported to the authorized dealer or to Zenith Sinks as being defective within the applicable warranty period will, at Zenith Sinks’ sole discretion, be repaired, replaced with replacement parts, replaced with the same model, or replaced with a product of similar style, size, finish, and value if the original product is no longer available. Replacement products are not guaranteed to be identical to the original product.

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser or end-user and is not transferable to any subsequent owner.

Restrictions

This warranty does not cover obsolete, discontinued, display, clearance, or discounted products, nor products purchased from unauthorized dealers or distributors.

This warranty does not cover instances of negligence, misuse, abuse, improper installation, carelessness, accident, hard water or mineral deposits, exposure to corrosive materials, misapplication, damage caused by improper maintenance, alteration of the product, or failure to follow care or installation instructions provided by Zenith Sinks.

Normal wear and tear is not covered under this warranty. Normal wear and tear includes, but is not limited to, scratches, scuffs, stains, finish reduction, discoloration, mineral buildup, dents, chips, or other cosmetic changes that occur through ordinary use and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Avoid using abrasive cleaners such as powders, bleach, ammonia, alcohol, or chlorine. Avoid using abrasive pads, steel wool, or wire brushes, as these will damage and wear down the finish.

This warranty does not apply to products that have not been installed or operated in accordance with instructions supplied by Zenith Sinks and all applicable rules, regulations, and legislation pertaining to such installations.

Zenith Sinks recommends installation by a qualified trade professional. Damage resulting from improper installation is not covered under this warranty.

This warranty does not cover labor charges, removal costs, reinstallation costs, project delays, transportation costs after the first year, shipping costs after the first year, or damage to countertops, cabinets, flooring, plumbing, or other property.

This warranty does not allow recovery of incidental, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, delay, inconvenience, property damage, or related expenses. In no event shall Zenith Sinks’ liability exceed the original purchase price of the product.

This warranty does not cover marine, outdoor, or other non-approved installations.

This warranty does not cover any free gifts or promotional items included with purchase.

Except as otherwise provided above, Zenith Sinks makes no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Shipping charges for approved warranty replacement products or parts will be covered by Zenith Sinks during the first (1) year following the original purchase date. Thereafter, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Commercial Warranty

For commercial, industrial, rental, hospitality, institutional, multi-unit residential, business, or other non-residential applications, this warranty is limited to one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Warranty Claims

Zenith Sinks reserves the right to inspect, photograph, test, or otherwise evaluate any product claimed to be defective prior to approving a warranty claim. Zenith Sinks may require proof of purchase, photographs, product information, installation details, and any other information reasonably required to evaluate a claim.

All incidental or consequential damages are specifically excluded. No additional warranties, express or implied, are given, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from province to province.

Warranty claims will be governed by the warranty terms in effect on the date the product was originally purchased.
